House the Homeless strongly opposes the recent Supreme Court ruling in Grants Pass v. Johnson, which permits cities to criminalize public sleeping for unhoused individuals, even when no alternative shelter is available. This decision undermines constitutional protections and fails to address the root causes of homelessness. We stand in solidarity with those advocating for humane and effective solutions and urge communities to focus on providing support and resources rather than punitive measures.
